Danny Fitzgerald joined the team as the Dockmaster for the Hampton Public Docks in May 4th, 2020. Danny is a fifth generation resident of the City of Hampton, and has more than 40 years experience in the boating world. Danny was previously affiliated with two sail making companies in Hampton, and formerly operated a business providing rigging and repair services to boaters. Additionally Danny is a skilled craftsman, with a focus on carpentry, and an accomplished musician that has been performing at venues all over the region for many years. Carlyle Bland, president of the Downtown Hampton Development Partnership, stated that "Danny is a tremendous choice for Dockmaster and we welcome him to the DHDP team."
