The Hampton River will come to life as a fleet of decorated boats parade past the Downtown Hampton waterfront. Don’t miss the fun Saturday, December 14, 2024.
The parade runs from 7:00-8:00 pm and concludes with an awards ceremony at 8:30 pm.
Following the parade, Santa will join the fun dockside to provide one last chance for your family to visit with him!
This event is free and open to the public!
Santa’s Boathouse
Santa will arrive at 2:00 pm. Join Santa dockside where you can take your own family photos in Santa’s Boathouse.

BrassWind
Get ready for an unforgettable performance by BrassWind at our Lighted Boat Parade! Known as Hampton Roads’ Premier Horn & Party Band, BrassWind delivers authentic, high-energy music with captivating vocals, a powerful rhythm section, and electrifying brass. Composed of retired and active-duty military members along with talented educators, this band has been bringing “Grown Folks Music” to life since 2018, blending an eclectic mix of genres and styles. The band will perform 6:00 - 7:00 pm and again from 8:30 - 10:00 pm.

Holiday Food and Fun!
The Landings Hotel and Bull Island Brewery will offer fun holiday treats, hot chocolate and adult holiday beverages for purchase.
The Doorway Singers will entertain the crowd with fun family games and holiday music starting at 3:00 pm.
Face Painter, Mandy Smith, will be on site from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm providing free face painting for children.
Create your own holiday ornament at our arts and crafts station. -
The Hampton Queen
Set Sail with Us on the Hampton Queen! Dockside at 6:00 PM – We’ll get underway as the parade kicks off and cruise through the sparkling lights, waving at all the spectators along the shore. After our first lap, we’ll dock along the route to give you one of the best views of the parade!
Drink Specials from our bar, plus complimentary hot chocolate & cookies for all guests aboard!
